Who Is Directing You

The question was asked, how did you know it was time to leave? Many other questions of this magnitude are posed to us Christians. How can you be sure it was the Lord that spoke to you? Who is directing you?

There are two spiritual forces that influence human behavior, good and evil. In the realm of the spirit these forces are governed by The Kingdom of God and The Kingdom of darkness. One is ruled by the divine authority of our Lord God Almighty and the other satan. These very eccentric forces affect our decisions. The Bible says in Joshua 24:15, “and if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve, ….”

These opposing forces that direct us into good or evil causes things to be either in order or chaos. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly,” John 10:10. Many times we feel our direction should be without bumps and bruises, the reality is, that’s not so.

Who is directing you, darkness or Light? Darkness refers to separation from God. It also refers to sin and spiritual ignorance. Light on the other hand, speaks of God’s presence, grace and salvation that’s feely given. Today, we are given a choice; good or evil, light or darkness, the kingdom of God or the kingdom darkness. Who will direct you, God or satan?
