Cohesive – The Business of togetherness
The example is set from the beginning of time; every aspect of our life is based on agreement. This agreement is capsulated by relationships and possessing the ability to coexist. Our life must model the Ones to whom created us. Our lives must mimic, God the Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit.
The term cohesive means to be closely attached, to stick or to stuck. This meaning is associated to the Latin word cohaesus. Simply put, this word speaks to the oneness of these three distinct person. 1 John 5:7, “for they are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost (Spirit): and these three are one.” Ephesians 4:4-6, “there is one body, and one Spirit …. One Lord, one Faith, one baptism, …. One God and Father of all ….”
Jesus confirmed His oneness with God in John 10:30, when He said, “…. I and my Father are one.” This actually speaks to the relationship they both shared. “…. This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,” Matthew 3:17. God created relationships and has set the examples for us to follow. Our relationships are products of God and must replicate the cohesiveness of Trinity. Whether the relationship is based on a friendship, work associate, marital, professional, parental or social, without cohesiveness, it will fall apart.
Saints of God, the only way we can be cohesive in our relationships, is if our lives model the life of the Trinity.
God Bless.
