To trust God's timing we must first understand his heart

Good morning beloved

I have a routine that I do each morning I search the word for his will concerning myself. This morning God led me to these words, which stirred both excitement and encouragement. I have really waited long on some "things" from God. I turned to these words today -

Isaiah 30:23 - 26 Amplified

23 Then He will give you rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread [grain] from the produce of the ground, and it will be rich and plentiful. In that day your livestock will graze in large and roomy pastures. 24 Also the oxen and the young donkeys that work the ground will eat salted fodder, which has been winnowed with shovel and pitchfork. 25 On every lofty mountain and on every high hill there will be streams of water on the day of the great slaughter (the day of the Lord), when the towers fall [and all His enemies are destroyed]. 26 The light of the full moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days [concentrated in one], in the day the Lord binds up the fracture of His people and heals the wound He has inflicted [because of their sins]

I began to thank God, agree with his will, but tried to discern his timing.

I then started to pray and ask God what to say to his people and the instruction came ever so clearly - speak about my timing.

Oh yes God's timing involves waiting.

I tell you dear friends to me that used to be the hardest thing to do, but now I understand God’s ways and understand most of all his heart.

A loving Father doesn't give us everything we want right away, instead while we wait he develops our Christ-like character with such traits as patience and endurance.

Dear friends I remember the first message I preached was on waiting. When God told me to I was so reluctant because I know if I preach that message then he would test me in that area and he did. Looking back, I can say it was good because the characteristics that I needed to develop the most was patience and endurance. I can honestly NOW sing that song I don't mind waiting by Juanita Bynum, without suffering discomfort...lol.

When we look through the word of God we constantly see the words IN THAT DAY....and then it is followed by a promise.

Be assured that God is a faithful, lovingkind, merciful Abbah Father and waiting doesn't mean he has forgotten you. Trust his heart towards you.

Be reminded that he IS The on-time God, we have all proved him to be faithful and timely again and again and again.

Now as I look back the waiting season was a time of preparation. If we have those miracles too early -

1 We will not know how to manage those areas of our life efficiently, resulting in regression

2 That "thing" we receive could move us away from being closely connected to and dependent on God. I have seen it happen so many times as individuals received money miracles - they got caught in a system of wanting more and more money and Mammon became their priority.

Wait IN God, this means you don't only wait ON him but you worship him and enjoy your relationship with God, while you wait

Amen

Continue to practice this principle while you wait.

Psalm 37:3 - 5

3 Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the Lord and do good;

Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness.

4 Delight yourself in the Lord,

And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the Lord;

Trust in Him also and He will do it.

Amen and amen

Walk good in Christ

Nuff love and blessings
