Do you know the Master's voice by Minister Owen Mitchell

The night I gave my life over to Jesus Christ was my first experience hearing the voice of God. After being ministered to by my mother, I came off the phone with a resounding Spirit over me. I had a feeling of conviction, telling me I am not my own, you belong to Me. A songwriter penned it this way, my life is not my own, to you I belong, I give myself, I give myself to You.

This divine authoritative direct voice, convicts and transforms us into who He wants us to be. Are we in the position and have the posture that’s required to hear this beautiful voice? Our posture is determined by our complete surrender, trust and humility to the authority of God. “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in all the earth,” Psalm 46:10.

Our position speaks to our security in our Lord. Believing by faith that He is Sovereign and He’s above all and over all things. “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the Heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” Ephesians 2:6. Hearing the voice of God is determined by our relationship with the King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords.

Draw us close to you God, never let us go. The closer we get to you is the clearer we hear your voice. God’s voice makes a difference. Satan also speaks. whose voice are you hearing?
