The Taste That Brings Completeness

I bring you blessings today beloved of God. As we embark on this challenging era of life, I see mush frustration on the faces of the saints of God. But I am here to tell you today that you are complete in God through Christ Jesus. “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and not be entangled with the yoke of bondage,” Galatians 5:1.

The Bible uses the word complete in Colossians 2:10 in reference to being whole. “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” Completeness is not achieved through our efforts but through the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. It typifies a constant work by Him in making us perfect, through His knowledge and by His grace.

The doctrine of completeness speaks of the sufficiency of God. 2 Corinthians 12:9, “…. My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength was made perfect in weakness ….” God’s grace has no limit and is more than enough. God’s grace is all about His unmerited favor, provision and strength. It addresses the needs, challenges, weaknesses and hardships Christians face.

“O taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man that trusteth in Him,” Psalm 34:8. It is not just about understanding the meaning of completeness but tasting it. Taste suggests experience as in, take a bite, try it. David wanted us to experience it for ourselves, not to just take his word. You are complete in Christ!

God Bless.
