The silence before the glory

Title: “The Silence Before the Glory”

Today is Easter Saturday—a day that feels quiet, in-between, uncertain. Jesus is in the tomb. Heaven seems silent. The disciples are confused and afraid. But let me tell you: God does His greatest works in the silence.

On Good Friday, all hope looked lost. The Savior had died. But what no one saw was that while the earth mourned, heaven was at work.

Ephesians 4:9-10 says Jesus “descended into the lower parts of the earth,” and then rose “that He might fill all things.” While the world thought it was over, Jesus was defeating death, conquering hell, and taking the keys of victory.

What’s the message today?

1. God is working even when you can't see it.

You might feel like you're in your own “Saturday”—in between a prayer and its answer, in between pain and breakthrough. But don’t lose heart. Resurrection is coming!

2. Silence doesn't mean absence.

Just because God is silent doesn’t mean He is absent. He’s preparing a testimony that eyes haven’t seen and ears haven’t heard.

3. Glory is always preceded by a pause.

Every story has a turning point. And tomorrow—Resurrection Sunday—is proof that your story will not end in the grave.

So what should you do today?

Wait with faith. The silence is not punishment, it’s preparation.

Stay expectant. If God raised Jesus, He can raise your destiny.

Celebrate in advance. Resurrection is inevitable for those in Christ.

Let’s pray:

Heavenly Father, even when we don’t understand, help us to trust. In our waiting seasons, help us remember that resurrection is on the way. We believe that silence is not the end, but the setup for supernatural victory. In Jesus precious Name .Amen.
