The Joy This Season Brings PT2

What a fellowship, what a joy divine, leaning on His arms. What a blessedness, what a peace is mine, leaning on His arms.

It is so amazing the joy that is attached to Jesus. This joy became so evident to me during this season. The uniqueness of this time of the year had me embracing Christmas more than I ever did. I found myself appreciating the beauty of the world more and the joy that it brings is simply awesome. David said in Psalm 19:1, “the Heaven declares the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handiwork.”

It is believed that David was looking upward when he wrote this Psalm. This season had me seeing Christ in everything that is around me. The different colors of lights displayed during this time signifies the covenant keeping God. The food, fellowship and family, defines Christianity and spirituality. I heard the voice of the Lord say, “look around you, how many things do you see that is available only during this time of year. This signifies God’s supremacy. David looked up and declared God’s beauty, for me just looking around during this is declaring His wonder.

He also said in Psalm 24:1, “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof: the world, and they that dwell therein.” The joy of this season depicts our Lord.
