The Gospel of Peace: Good News for Everyone by Minister Carol Chambers

The word “ gospel ” means good news—life-changing, hope-restoring news that reaches every heart, every situation, and every season of life. It is not reserved for a select few; it is available to all. And this is the good news: through Jesus Christ, true and lasting peace is available to everyone.

This peace is not temporary or dependent on circumstances. It is deep, unshakable, and rooted in a restored relationship with God. It carries the power to steady your heart, renew your mind, and transform how you live and relate to others.

*This peace reveals itself in three powerful ways:*

1. *Peace with God*

*Romans 5:1*

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

This is the foundation of all peace. Through Christ, we are no longer separated from God—we are reconciled. There is no longer striving to earn acceptance or fear of rejection. Instead, there is assurance: you are known, you are loved, and you are not alone. This peace brings rest to the soul and confidence in your identity.

2. *Peace Within Yourself*

*Isaiah 26:3*

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Life may be filled with uncertainty, pressure, and unexpected challenges, yet this inner peace remains. It guards your heart and mind, allowing you to stay calm in the middle of chaos. It is the quiet strength that steadies you when emotions rise and circumstances shift. This peace does not deny difficulty—it overcomes it.

3. *Peace with Others*

*Hebrews 12:14*

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness…”

The peace you receive is not meant to stay within you—it flows outward. It shapes how you speak, how you respond, and how you relate to others. Instead of conflict, you bring calm. Instead of division, you bring unity. You become a bridge-builder, a reconciler, and a carrier of peace in every environment you enter.

Amen
