The Fullness of God
“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with the fulness of God,” Ephesians 3:19. This is a part of Paul’s prayer for the children of God. Are you experiencing the fullness of God?
The Greek word for fullness is Pleroma which means, filling or being full, complete or being complete. The fullness of God encapsulates the totality of God; His attributes, character, perfection, holiness, power and His Love. Being filled with God is a transformative experience, we become new, full of God’s grace and power.
Is your Christian life a reflection of the fullness of God? To access this fullness, we have to know the love of God, the immeasurable love of God. “For God so love the world, that He gave His only begotten Son ….,” John 3:16. Romans 8:35, “who can separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” When we understand the love of God for us, we then activate God’s fullness.
To know is an intentional act. We must be intentional in our knowing Him, God through Christ Jesus. This knowledge is beyond the natural, it’s supernatural, it surpasses human knowledge. Do we really know Him?
God Bless.
