SPIRIT FILLED vs EMOTIONAL: Know the difference

Topic: SPIRIT-FILLED vs EMOTIONAL: KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!

Romans 8:14 (KJV)

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

In today’s noisy world, it’s easy to confuse emotional hype for spiritual depth. Many can cry during worship, shout during a sermon, or feel goosebumps when the music is loud — but that doesn't always mean the Holy Spirit is at work.

* Emotions respond to environment.

* The Holy Spirit responds to surrender.

You can feel good in a service and leave unchanged. But when you're truly Spirit-filled, you’re transformed, not just touched. Being emotional may stir your feelings temporarily — but being Spirit-filled leads you into righteousness, holiness, boldness, and purpose.

* The emotional person is moved by what they hear.

* The Spirit-filled person is moved by what God says.

* The emotional person seeks excitement.

* The Spirit-filled person seeks God's will, even when it hurts.

Don't settle for goosebumps—go for glory!

The Spirit-filled life is not a show — it's a life of power, discipline, and divine direction. It’s time to grow beyond shouting in services and start shining in the Spirit. Be a vessel that burns with the fire of God, not just a person who rides waves of emotions.

Cry if you must, shout if you will—but above all, BE FILLED!

🙏 PRAYER:

Holy Spirit, empty me of self and emotions that distract me from Your truth. Fill me with Your power, Your fire, and Your wisdom. I don’t just want to feel You — I want to walk with You. In Jesus precious Name.
