Rooted and Grounded in God's love, we become Unshakeable

Good morning beloved

I pray like Paul did for the Ephesians

Ephesians 3 Amplified

14 For this reason [grasping the greatness of this plan by which Jews and Gentiles are joined together in Christ] I bow my knees [in reverence] before the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ], 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth [a]derives its name [God—the first and ultimate Father]. 16 May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, 18 be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; 19 and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].

Everyone of us right now are facing some kind of challenge, some more intensely than others and for some it may even spread to more than one area of their life.

But yet some of us seem to faint under the least of tests while others seem resolute while facing the "storms" and even "hurricanes" of life

I tell you the truth some individuals no matter how blessed they are they will still groan and complain

This is the season where we have got to "soldier " it out.

I wish I had known many of the things that I will share with you here and now, much earlier because then I would never have been derailed or distracted.

3 things I want to share here

1 Remember that anything we go through in this life

When we belong to God it is all working for a far greater purpose

Everything- EVERY single thing - ALL things are working for our good and God's glory because we love the Lord and are the called according to his purposes.

Amen

2 If you expect something then you will not be blindsided by the enemy or shocked when these things happen.

Here are the words of Jesus

John 16:33

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

These verses are so complete

The verse speaks of IN CHRIST WE WILL HAVE PEACE

In THIS WORLD WE WILL HAVE TRIBULATION

And dear friends unfortunately we do not get to choose the shape or form the tribulation will take.

Next we are given the instruction to be

courageous even filled with Joy

For Christ has already overcome The World

There is a FINISHED (VICTORIOUS) work at Calvary's Cross, where Jesus overcame 3 things - the World, the Flesh and the Devil and because of the finished, completed work, we have the power to overcome anything this World presents.

Amen

Now here is the crux of today's message

When I was younger in Christ, I used to panic when confronted with life's challenges, not only that, but life would wound me so deeply...I had a ROOT of Rejection.

But as I began to know(intimacy) God in a deeper way, prove his character as healer, deliverer, my everything and most of all his love began to fill and overtake my heart, then I became unshakeable because I of being so wrapped up in his love. Abiding in God's presence is the natural place for me.

Belonging to the world and sin has become an uncomfortable, unfamiliar place.

God brought me to this place, through much affliction and brokenness, I learned more and more to depend on him.

I say to you - look beyond what you are going through and get into God's presence.

You won't get there groaning and complaining but you will access his presence with thanksgiving, praise and Worship and then my friends as you press into the holy of holies with Worship, it is deep calling unto deep, one becomes filled with showers of God's love. Refreshed, rejuvenated - what can really shake us?

I am not saying we will never be wounded, hurt, bruised or experience trauma,

But it will not displace or shake us, it will not get deep on the inside of us, because those roots have grown so deep in God's love

We above all else want the love of God to permeate and saturate every single fibre of our being. Thank you Abbah Father for doing this work in us. FILL US WITH YOUR LOVE
