Remaining in God's peace

Dear friends

These times we live in are called perilous times. What it does it mean?

The enemy has upped his "anti".

BUT above all else God has poured out his Spirit in such abundance. With this comes the anointing to overcome.

Each day the enemy will try to disturb our peace, we must choose to remain in peace. We will be victorious in this daily battle.

The battle actually begins in our mind and if the enemy can gain ground there we will remain defeated.

So how does the enemy operate?  He will use the old records as an "inroad" to afflict our mind by sending thoughts. The battlefield begins with the mind and if we receive the thoughts the enemy sends and begin to speak accordingly then he will have a right to torment, afflict and pursue.

Think carefully about what you have been thinking about the last few hours and days. Think too on any temptation you submitted to - it began with a thought.

We have got to overcome the enemy and not submit to his wiles and strategies for if he can disturb our peace, we will continue to walk in defeat.

We must be careful in how we process our thoughts.

This is what we need to do daily

1 Recognize that true and lasting peace can only come from God. Jehovah Shalom can give you peace and keep you in peace. Ask him and he will give you peace

2 Filter the thoughts that come our way, how the enemy operates is he is able to send thoughts based on the old records he has of us - the antidote to this is to meditate on God's word

3 Guard your ear and eye gates carefully, for what you focus on will take root in your heart

Peace comes not in the absence of problems but instead remaining in the presence of God

4 As often as possible surround yourself with Praise & Worship music, prayers and scripture being played in your environment.

5 Trust that somehow, someway God is causing ALL things to work for our good and his glory

This prayer will help

Father I come to you daily in repentance. I repent of sins known and unknown, sins in thought, word and deed.

Thank you Abbah Father for your forgiveness. I surrender all to you and submit to your transformation process. I have submitted to you wholeheartedly so I resist the devil and he must flea.

I thank you that I have the mind of Christ and I hold the thoughts and feelings of Christ. I take my thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ, I cast down vain imaginations in the mighty name of Jesus. I put on the whole armour of God - the sandals of the Gospel of peace, the shield of Faith, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth and I wield the sword of the Spirit with accuracy and precision in the name of Jesus.

I choose this day and every day forward to think on things that are pure, lovely and just. I will remain in God's peace in the name of Jesus. I meditate on God’s word, I stand on his promises and apply his word in my life. I am victorious, I am more than a Conqueror because of him who loved me. Thank you Lord, I overcome the enemy in Jesus name . I choose to trust you Abbah Father no matter what I may face daily. I thank you Father for giving me peace every day as I keep my eyes fixed and focused on you.
