Dear friends
As God ministers these words to me - I impart (not just share or teach) them to you.
My friend Rev Juliet asked me how I was doing yesterday close to my "calm down time" to which I responded "frazzled" lol. Of course she was quite surprised about my response. I am an early morning person and sometimes work over 12 hours and I can find myself at the end of the day quite drained. I have for the day emptied myself with much creativity, encouraged and prayed for many, done all assignments I have for the day with excellence for God’s glory. I have managed the growing Cuisinease business with cake orders, bed and breakfast hospitality, cleanup, customized meal orders and bookings, plus the growing Walk good in Christ Ministry. Sometimes I will have found myself for the day accomplishing so many tasks - it is impossible to have done if I didn't have God with me, leading me every step of the way. I thank God.
Listening to God this morning, I heard "My daughter some things you must leave to be done tomorrow" yes friends we need to stay in God's timing. When God gives us insight and vision, it will not all be accomplished in the same day or immediate time. My friend Antoinette Palmer Davis always says this "Auntie Jackie when we hear from God - we just press Gas" lol. My friend is a business owner herself and her products from Ettenio are doing well on the International marketplace.
Dear friends as Creative and Ambitious Achievers, we can find ourselves quite "driven" at times, but we must learn the art of pacing ourselves carefully. We must move in sync with God’s Spirit - by the pillar of cloud by day and the fire by night. Timing is of essence in accomplishing anything for God’s glory and building the Kingdom effectively.
Now another aspect of how my day is ordered,
I begin the day with bible study, deep prayer and listen to God carefully....I feel like "superwoman" when I begin each day..lol.
I end the day well, one hour before I go to bed I have a "shutdown" routine, a relaxing shower, worship music, funny videos (individuals often hear me laughing from my bedroom) and basking in God’s presence.
I heard God say this morning, no more frazzling days - take a praise and worship break each day no matter how much you have to do. Amen
I share this with you my friends because we must remain in God's peace. No matter how busy we become....choose to stay in his peace.
If we are not in God's peace we have moved out of position - the truth is we have moved out of faith.
These scripture verses come to mind
John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]
Anxiety and worry are all attached to fear. We must have made up minds we will not be afraid. Help us Lord to remain immovable and unshakeable by fear, we will remain rooted and grounded in your love.
Yes we will have made up minds
Isaiah 26:3/4
3 “You will keep in[b]perfectandconstant peacethe onewhose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both[c]inclination and character],
Because he trustsandtakes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].
4 “Trust [confidently] in theLordforever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner],
For theLord Godis an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].
Amen
Though I am abiding, talking to God allowing him to lead, sometimes I can passionately become involved with working on a project so intensely, I have shifted focus.
I plan to programme Alexa today so Praise and Worship will be in the background all day and the next time I feel "frazzled" I will definitely STOP, do a praise break and get refreshed in God's presence, the only place and source of true peace
Amen
Abbah Father we ask you to keep our minds and hearts fixed and focused on you. We choose to remain in your peace, faith and trust each day.
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
Pastor J
