Refreshing from God

Dear friends

This is a reminder to you and also encouragement too. As I woke up I read this caption about the Dew of Hebron. You all know me by now - that the first thing I do is relate with God and take up his word and read it. Therein I hear God's voice ....I often write the date and the caption GOD SPEAKING TO ME. It is wonderful to experience such refreshing each day, no matter where I am. Please try this my friends God is speaking to you. Will you but hear and listen?

Hearing is the passive, physiological process of receiving sound through the ears and brain, while listening is an active, cognitive process of understanding and interpreting sounds.

Listening moves you into action - into receiving from God.

Let me share what I found about the morning dew

Now I will speak another day about the faithfulness of God’s people but for today about God’s faithfulness. He will cause "dew" to come upon us no matter what season, climate or terrain (all surrounding us). We will never be dry or barren IN THE LORD.

But truly if we go deeper we will be absolutely refreshed and watered.

The Psalmist David in Psalm 63 states

1 O God, You are my God; with deepest longing I will seek You;

My [a]soul [my life, my very self] thirsts for You, my flesh longs and sighs for You,

In a dry and weary land where there is no water.

2 So I have gazed upon You in the sanctuary,

To see Your power and Your glory.

3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,

My lips shall praise You.

4 So will I bless You as long as I live;

I will lift up my hands in Your name.

5 My [b]soul [my life, my very self] is satisfied as with marrow and fatness,

And my mouth offers praises [to You] with joyful lips.

Nothing and no-one else can fill us and refresh us like God.

May we empty ourselves of everything of the old and receive refreshing and rejuvenation.

That is my prayer for you today.
