Inspiration

Push….

“ARISE, SHINE; for the light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee,” Isaiah 60:1. We are living in a time that calls for us to push, nothing comes easy. Everyone around us has issues, including ourselves. We have to push through and never give up. My word to you today is Push.

Push is much like the word Press. “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus,” Philippians 3:14. Pushing and pressing are very similar and are aligned to faith. Without faith we are pushing blindly, pushing or pressing towards no end goal. This concept speaks of persistence, effort and a determination to overcome every obstacle we face. It’s being conscious in our pursuit to accomplish and achieve. Much like the woman with the issue of blood. She pushed her way through the crowd, just to touch the helm of Jesus’ garments, Luke 8:43-48.

Saints of God, I implore you today, in the midst of your pushing, pray. Pray for the strength to go through, despite the many resistances, doubts, struggles and challenges. P.U.S.H. also carries with it an acronym, pray until something happens. Believers go through many spiritual battles that applies a force of pulling. Pulling us back into sin and away from God.

Brothers and sister, we have the Light, we have the Lord’s glory upon us and He will strengthen us. Push!
