Topic: Prioritize Your Spirituality As You Prepare For The Coming Year
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY: “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word." Acts 6:4 (NKJV)
MESSAGE OF THE DAY: There is one thing you must not take for granted in the coming year if you truly desire a better outcome and the manifestation of God’s good plans for your life—your spiritual life. You must be spiritual and remain spiritual at all times. Your greatest need as a child of God is true spirituality. Since man is essentially a spirit, his real needs are spiritual. When the spiritual is rightly handled, the natural aspects of life fall into place. In life, you are either spiritual or carnal, and the more spirit-filled you become, the easier it is to receive from God. Just as the welfare of a tree is determined by its roots, so is the welfare of man determined by his spirituality. Every physical or material need ultimately draws strength from the state of your spiritual life.
Man is a spirit; he has a soul, and he lives in a body. While strength is needed in all three areas, spiritual strength is paramount. Unlike physical or mental strength, which has limits and can fail, spiritual strength has no limits and never fails. Spiritual strength empowers you to overcome spiritual forces that natural strength cannot. As Apostle Paul emphasized in 1 Timothy 4:8 (MSG), "Workouts in the gymnasium are useful, but a disciplined life in God is far more so, making you fit both today and forever." To develop this sound spiritual strength, you must follow the example of the apostles by dedicating yourself to prayer and the ministry of the Word. Love God’s Word, hunger for His presence, and hate unrighteousness with passion. Prioritize feeding your spirit before your body, and ensure that the fire on your prayer altar is never extinguished. Stay committed to being in Zion, where you are equipped for greater effectiveness, and let praise and joy become your lifestyle. This daily pursuit of God will establish you as a spiritually strong and victorious believer.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for causing me to see a new day. Holy Spirit, I receive grace for a sound spiritual life. I receive grace for fervency in prayers, diligence in the study of Your Word, and dedication in living a life that is holy and pleasing to You.
