Good morning beloved
The Prayers that touch God's heart are those breathed with faith and the undertone of I trust you Abbah
For years I never understood WHY?
Why the turmoil?
Why the pain?
Why the suffering?
And I would often walk around in the place of self pity, woundedness even on the brink of depression
My life changed drastically when I surrendered all and began to trust God wholeheartedly.
The first bible verse that I studied in depth was
Romans 8:28
28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose
My life's focus changed and this verse still remains my favourite you see dear friends when we live with a focus of eternity being spent with God, then the temporal things become so unimportant.
The words of this song really ring true
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in his wonderful face and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace.
Amen
We strive like the eagle to not remain in or focus on the storm. But we use the opposing winds to climb (to grow in God)
to heavenly heights.
An alone (but not lonely) place of peace, rest and surety of purpose
May God help us to keep focus on what is truly important. Whatever we make our focus, becomes our priority and ultimately the object of our Worship.
From this place our prayers will not be washed with tears of woe is me or fears, but our prayers will be watered with thanksgiving, praise, gratitude and worship. We pray like Job - though he slay me, YET will I bring him praise. Prayers of not I want, but prayers of Abbah Father let YOUR perfect will be done and your Kingdom come. We will truly like Jesus be able to rest in the storm.
(Mark 4:35, 36 and Luke 8:23)
Surrender, trust and Faith - is the place when we pray that which will reflect God’s heart, where we know he is more than enough. Where we know nothing is impossible for him to do and our Father favours us.
We become the vessels to agree with God and birth forth his will be done and his Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
