Peace in the midst of troubles

Good morning dear friends

God's portion for us each day is peace

Peace in the midst of fiery trials

Peace when we hear bad news

Peace perfect peace in every single situation we face

John 16:33

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

• In ME (Christ)you will have peace

• Here is how we will remain in peace Phillipians 4:4 - 7: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

• "Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]" John 14:27

Dear friends when I was younger in Christ I used to believe I could pray away situations I would have miracles and one day come into the "Promised Land" where nothing would ever go wrong.

As I grow (up) in Christ I begin to understand that "in this world we will have trouble"

May we remain unshakeable in trouble/troubles.

I can truly say I have found God's peace as I have grown in the discovery of his love as Father. In this love relationship with Abbah Father, I want to stay in his presence and it in abiding that we become unshakeable as we become rooted and grounded in the love of our Father. It as if we are covered in a "cacoon"

"Untouchable" because our Father surrounds us with his glory and essence of his presence.

Every day something may happen that could shake us, but, we really can choose to remain in God's peace.

PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF CONFLICT

PEACE IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD

Lord help us to remain in your peace, cause us to keep our focus at all times on you. May we not strive with the things of this world. Give us the reassurance that we need each day that nothing is ever accomplished by power or might but by your Spirit.

We seek you first and your kingdom and you will add all other things

Thank you Lord for peace, perfect peace.
