Depression is real — but God’s power is greater than any weight pressing your soul. The enemy wants you to feel trapped in hopelessness, but Jesus came “to heal the brokenhearted” and to give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3).

Here are 3 divine keys to break free from depression’s grip:

* Shift Your Focus to God’s Faithfulness

When you magnify your problems, they grow bigger in your mind. But when you magnify the Lord, His presence fills your heart with peace and strength. Begin to recall past victories and thank Him for them — it stirs hope for your tomorrow.

*Open Your Mouth in Praise

Depression thrives in silence. The garment of praise is a supernatural weapon against heaviness. Even if you don’t “feel” like it, begin to sing, declare His goodness, and worship Him. Your spirit will begin to rise above the darkness.

* Feed Daily on God’s Word

The Word of God is light, and light drives out darkness. When you meditate on Scriptures of hope, faith, and joy, your mind is renewed, and your heart receives fresh strength.

* Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I decree that every spirit of heaviness over your life is broken! Your joy is restored, your hope is renewed, and your days of sorrow are turned into testimonies. From this day, you will rise with new strength and divine peace! 🙏
