Make it right with God today

In this week’s inspiration, my message to you is simple, repent. I am reaching out to all carnal Christians and non-Christians alike, be in right standings with your Heavenly Father today. “For whosoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved,” Romans 10:13.

Saints of God, this week I heard of a friend who passed away suddenly and I mean suddenly. After hearing, I couldn’t help but to reflect on his life and the level of respect I had for him. He lived a very family-oriented life. He left two young children and his loving partner. I kept thinking about the hurt they must be going through.

Repentance and salvation are the hallmark of the Bible. They highlight the bountiful grace and mercies of our Lord and Savior. Repentance refers to the turning away from sin and aligning one’s self to God’s will for our life. Salvation is the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus. Significantly these two offers us a chance to live with our Heavenly Father for eternity. “The Lord is …. longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance,” 2 Peter 3:9.

“ …. the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel,” Mark 1:15. The word is given; make it right with God today. Let us not take this day for granted, “…. today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, ….” Hebrew 3:7-8.
