Topic: Levels of relationship with God

Scripture for the day:Exodus 33:11

And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

MESSAGE FOR THE DAY: There are levels of relationship with God. Whatever you know is little compared to what there is to know. Our text says and the Lord spoke to Moses face to face as a man speaks with his friend. God loves us all but doesn't relate with us all in the same level. Just as a father relates with his children based on their maturity, so it is with God. There are children that can be given the car keys to drive while some will be given the keys to play with on the ground. Relationship with God is in levels, make sure you're growing in fellowship. From our passage, God descended in a pillar of cloud and spoke to Moses face to face like a man would talk to his friend. Scripture also called Abraham a friend of God. It is nice to be a child of God but there are things that fathers can discuss with their friends but not their child. God was so close to Abraham that when he wanted to destroy Sodom, he spoke to Abraham, Moses had an audience with God and spoke with God. Iit is strange that people see it as strange when people say God spoke to them. It shows how fallen we are.

There are levels of relationship with God. God is looking for men and women He will discuss nations with. The purposes of God are bigger than just your needs. If all you think about is what God can give you, you cannot champion revivals for this kingdom. Today's believers are more of babies than sons. All we know is Lord give me this and that. You must get to the point where you say, Lord I am available, send me. If all the visions you're having is about yourself, you're still far away from growth. God is looking for men to champion moves for nations, men to equip for kingdoms. This is why many people's rising is short-lived, we get comfortable with fame and forget the kingdom. God is not just lifting you for fame, He wants to reach men through you. You must grow to that point where God can speak to you about His agenda for the world in this dispensation. Oh Lord, do not leave us out in your agenda for this season. As a child of God, hearing God should be so natural for you, He speaks on daily basis, it is men who are dull of hearing. The more you know Him, the more of Him you would need to know. Grow in fellowship, grow in relationship!

Prayer:

Father, thank you for grace. Help us grow in fellowship, pull us into your light until we become emissaries of that light in Jesus precious Name
