Let us Pray

As we are fast approaching the end of 2024 and looking forward by God’s grace to 2025, let us engage in prayer. My friends, prayer should be a staple in our everyday life. The basic definition of prayer is, talking to God.

As I look back at the year and all that transpired, Matthew 24 comes alive before me. “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am of Christ and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of war: …. For nation shall rise against nation, and Kingdom against Kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places,” verses 6-7. These are some of the tragedies we experienced this year 2024, being mentioned here. Please let us pray.

We shall be delivered up to be afflicted, we shall be hated by nations for the Lord’s sake. Many shall be offended; we will be betrayed amongst one another and shall hate one another. False prophets shall rise up to deceive many. Iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold, verses 9-12. All these are the beginning of sorrows, vs. 8. Luke 21:28, “And when we see these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh.” Can we seriously pray for these things that are happening around us?

Let us pray that in the midst of these prophesies becoming evident, we will be on the right side of God. Pray we will go ye out and spread the gospel to win lives for the Kingdom.

God Bless.
