Just Do It

Just do it, is a slogan made famous by the company Nike. It is a brand name for one of the most successful sporting gear and equipment franchises in the world.

This slogan carries a very impactful meaning. Its messaging is one of encouragement and empowerment. Its resilient nature speaks to people’s fear, self-doubt and perceived obstacles. This slogan surrounds the act of faith, much like Christianity. What is it the Lord is saying to you today? What is His will for your life? Just do it!

“Therefore whosoever heareth these saying of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock,” Matthew 7:24. Verse 7, “ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Many of us have been given directions from God but we still question if this is what the Lord wants me to do. Oftentimes we allow the enemy to lead us in another direction.

Jesus’ mother said to the servants in John 2:5, “whatever He saith unto you, do it.” After Jesus directed the servants to fill the water pots with water, they did it and the water turned in wine. There is a miracle awaiting you if we do the will of God. No matter how impossible the situation seems, God is able. Just do it by faith.
