Great is God’s Faithfulness!

Good morning beloved

We can depend on God, he is faithful and when we come into a place of understanding God's faithfulness we will enter his rest as we will realize we don't have to "strive" anymore, we can live out of the abundance of abiding in him, moving from the flow of his Spirit.

I can definitely testify of his faithfulness - my life has fruitfulness not because I was good or right or perfect but because God chose me, displayed his faithfulness and poured his undeserved love, grace and mercy. If you are reading this message this morning God has chosen you and I pray that he will open your eyes so that you may have a greater understanding of his faithfulness towards you. To have an understanding of his faithfulness let us dive into some scripture verses, all over the bible we see instances of man's failure and God's faithfulness displayed.

It is good to speak these verses aloud and personalise them.

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

2 Timothy 2:13 ESV

If we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself

Deuteronomy 7:9 ESV

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations

Psalm 36:5 ESV

Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds

This verse below is one of my favourite verses

I thank him daily for his new mercies

Lamentations 3:22 - 23 ESV

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness

Psalm 86:15 ESV

But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness

Psalm 33:4 ESV

For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness

These are just a few verses on God's faithfulness, I pray they will encourage you.

Dear friends

If you look all around you will see God's hand of faithfulness upon creation, even the very heavens declare his glory.

No matter how much evil is done - the sun rises and sets in the same direction daily, new life is birthed secondly with a display of such marvellous intricate beauty and majesty.

God created all things and all things were created for his glory.

I am amazed at even how much my garden testifies of God's faithfulness - I do nothing with these plants and flowers but every January the daffodils and garlic scapes pop out of the ground and begin to flourish. The bluebells and wild blueberries (these bring me a bit of annoyance, because if I don't control them they will grow everywhere) come forth in spring time and the calla lillies, daisies, summer roses and my beautiful red flower bearing (I just don't know the name....lol) side hedge come out with splendour at summertime. I just thank God each time I see them, because honestly I have no much time for gardening.

I am actually having an uncommon phenomenon happening at this time, because my in-house orchids are in full bloom in Winter time. This is God’s indicator to me of his abundant blessing in this season of my life.

Amos 9:13

“Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “When the plowman shall overtake the one who gathers the harvest, And the one who treads the grapes [shall overtake] him who sows the seed [for the harvest continues until planting time]; When the mountains will drip sweet wine And all the hills shall melt [that is, everything that was once barren will overflow with streams of blessing]."

I will share a picture to bless you, if you look closely at this picture, you will see every single joint is ready to sprout. God is soooo good!

Dearly beloved if you "count your blessings" you will realize how faithful God has been in your life.

Thank him for all his faithfulness, for gratefulness in the Kingdom paves the way for abundant blessings.
