Scrirure for the day: Numbers 1:54

And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

MESSAGE FOR THE DAY: There's God's instructions to you and God's instruction to all. Our text says and the people did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses. In those days Moses served as a middle man who passed God's instructions to the people. He had to receive from God before he delivered to the people and most times it was God's instructions to all that he conveyed. Now that you have the spirit of God in you, you must pay attention to God's instructions to you. What God is saying to everyone may be different from what God is saying to you. Scriptures say as many that are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God. Your security and purpose is in God's instructions to you. God told Isaac in Genesis 26, stay in the land and I will bless you. That God told me to stay doesn't mean He wants you to stay. Never use what God is saying to another as a template for your life and never use what God has said to you as an ordinance for others. We must learn how not to turn our instructions to everybody's instruction. Not every instruction is for public consumption, if you leave like Naomi just because there is famine, you may return without result.

Always position yourself for God's instructions. Imagine always receiving your father's instructions through your brother, every time, daddy said, won't you decide to go and see daddy for yourself. We have too many lazy believers who meet their pastors, ready to pay money asking them to tell them what God is saying about them and in a bid to say something, they end up telling you what you want to hear. There are instructions that will not come through anybody, God will speak to you through dreams, through the inner voice, through revelations, through scripture, through messages. But by all means make sure you catch your word when it comes. Your life will move faster depending on your ability to discern God's direction and follow it. They are decisions that people discouraged me from taking yesterday but are appreciating me for taking it today because I heard God clearly and I followed Him. If God is saying something to you, don't always expect others to understand.

Father, thank you for grace. Help us hear well, may we not miss your word for us at every given time in Jesus precious Name
