God Promised

Good morning beloved

As I turned to my bible reading as being led of the Lord in the study of the book of Jeremiah it became so clear as I read the caption

GOD WILL RESTORE ISRAEL, from Jeremiah 16 verse 14 onwards.

God always always gives his people hope of something better to come and we can conclude from our experiences not just better but best. For he certainly blesses us exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or even imagine.

God is waiting waiting for his people to turn, to come wholeheartedly to him, to worship him above all other idols. Won't you do this today?

After God saves us there is an inheritance in God, he never leaves us the same. He sets the foundation of the life more abundantly spoken through his promises established in his word.

The Hebrew word for promise is Havtacha

The word hav•ta•cha relates to the word be•tach and bit•cha and the three words come from the root B.T.Ch. Reminding you that B and V are the same letter in Hebrew so that you can see more clearly the connection of the words to their root letters. This root and these words mean safety, confidence, trust, assurance and feeling of peacefulness.

If you read the word of God carefully there are promises there: They are God's definition of who we are and God's answer to any situation (in this life and on this earth) that we may face.

As I did the research one writer states there are in The New Testament has 1,104 promises; the Old Testament 7,706

Here is the article that you can read in detail

Imagine this though:

• When God speaks he is true to his word, his promises are covenants not just empty words.

• He spent so much time putting so many promises. Why? To always give us Hope in every situation we face.

  • God does guarantee his promises will come forth in our lives 2 Corinthisn 1 18 But [as surely as] God is faithful and means what He says, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No” [at the same time]. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, by me, Silvanus, and Timothy, was not “Yes” and “No,” but has proved to be “Yes” in Him [true and faithful, the divine “Yes” affirming God’s promises]. 20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God.

Amen

So my friends search the word for God’s promises concerning you and every situation that faces you and begin to confess these words when you may feel uncertain, doubtful or fearful.

God will be true to his word, trust him

Amen

Walk good in Christ

Till we meet again

Pastor J
