Fear not by Pastor Samson Bodjor

Topic: Fear Not

Scripture of the day: Exodus 14:13

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY: It matters how you approach every situation that presents itself before you. Our text says and Moses said unto the people, fear not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. It is not about crying, it matters who you cry to. It is not the tears that changes the situation, make it an invitation to bring God into your matter. There's a difference between just crying and crying out to God. The children of Israel cried to God and God made a way. Your approach can turn away the reproach. The first thing Moses addressed was their approach, “fear not”. When you face the battle with fear, you fail even before it begins, this is why every time God meets men in scriptures, He first admonishes them to be strong and courageous. The approach of fear is already a disadvantaged position for you. It is true that what is before you looks fearful but choose not to be afraid. Choose not to entertain fear, God has not given us the spirit of fear, fear is an invitation to the devil. Give no room to fear. Fear will cripple your spiritual senses and you will not be able to hear divine direction.

It is not what is before you that matters, neither is it what is behind you but who is with you. For a moment there, they forgot the God accompanying them. Scripture says he went with them as a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. They forgot the mighty hand of God that plagued Egypt and were already complaining. Fear will mess with your mind and make victory impossible. Always remember you're not alone. If you must cry, cry out to God and face the challenge with authority. Immediately Moses fixed their mind and took out fear, God spoke to Him. Beloved, you can't hear God's voice until you get rid of that fear, the miracle is set to happen, don't let fear be the hindrance. It is true there's a red sea ahead of you and Egyptians behind you, so technically you're surrounded on both sides with impossibility but God likes making a name for himself in the impossible storm. If God's leading brings you before the red sea, He will path it for you. There's no dead end with God. He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Get rid of fear and pay attention, God is bringing you deliverance and solution in Jesus name

Prayer:

Father, thank you for grace. Deliver us from anything affecting our faith. May our ears not be closed to divine direction in Jesus precious Name.
