Deliverance 101 PART I - Devils and Demons are silenced by the Word of God

Good morning Dearly beloved
I am led at this time to do a series on Spiritual warfare and Deliverance last Sunday's message on YouTube was also on Spiritual Warfare if you missed it here is the link
Many are being "pursued" relentlessly by the enemy at this time and it is as if in certain areas of our life the fire has been turned up seven times hotter. The enemy knows he doesn't have much time, we need to discern the times we are in and walk in the place of power and authority. Authority is only granted by connection and association.
If the fire is being turned up I assure you, God is going to use every single thing we walk through for his glory and our good (because we love him and we are called according to his purposes) He will turn that situation around.
To deal with the enemy effectively - we must first know our enemy and then recognize the battle is not ours in a physical carnal way, the battle is the Lord’s and we are his representatives to bring about his will be done and his Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
The devil's purpose is to kill, steal and destroy but in Christ there is life and life more abundantly
Jesus came to set the Captives free (Luke 4:18)
And
Destroy the works of the Devil (1 John 3:8)
Now let me tell you something here that could be life-changing:
Devils and demons are silenced by God's word
God has given us the power and authority to do his will on earth as it is in heaven and it is the Spoken word of God that makes the difference in Spiritual Warfare and the ministry of Deliverance. Not our rantings and ravings, not our shouting loudly but the SPOKEN WORD OF GOD.
Let's look at the example of Jesus in the wilderness
Matthew 4
1 Then Jesus was led by the [Holy] Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 After He had gone without food for forty days and forty nights, He became hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4 But Jesus replied, “It is written and forever remains written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’”
5 Then the devil took Him into the holy city [Jerusalem] and placed Him on the pinnacle (highest point) of the temple. 6 And he said [mockingly] to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written,
‘He will command His angels concerning You [to serve, care for, protect and watch over You]’;
and
‘They will lift you up on their hands,
So that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’”
7 Jesus said to him, “On the other hand, it is written and forever remains written, ‘You shall not test the Lord your God.’”
8 Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory [splendor, magnificence, and excellence] of them; 9 and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written and forever remains written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’” 11 Then the devil left Him; and angels came and ministered to Him [bringing Him food and serving Him]
Please note Jesus didn’t fall to his knees and pray when confronted by devils and demons. He spoke to them openly issuing authoritative commands with God's word. I can testify of the Power of using God's word, I will use this example here, though I have many more to share.
In my early days of being trained as a Deliverance Minister some 20 years ago
I used to see "Senior" Ministers alongside me, "ranting and raving" in tongues and the same individuals would come back week after week and they would cast out the same demons again.
I knew there was a better way and asked to God to show me.
God strategically raised me for this purpose and taught me step by step "the better way" of Deliverance.
1 Always be in fasting and prayer when conducting deliverance. The persons who God send my way I would also instruct them to do a 3 day Esther fast....some demons only go with fasting and prayer
(Matthew 17:21)
The devils and demons are so weakened after The Esther fast (a fast for healing and deliverance) that there is "clearance" when conducting these sessions
2 Let the Holy Spirit lead and guide....listen to him carefully....wait. Don't move until you hear from him and then when you hear....do exactly what he says. One must discern the head demon, not what the people are saying. I need to caution those of you having long conversations with demons at deliverance, Satan is the Father of all lies and he will not tell you truth so you will spend time casting out lesser demons and they will return if the head Demon is still there
3 The head demon will go with repentance and the application of God's word
If you find you are casting out the same demons over and over again as I said above the first entry point for the enemy has to be dealt with...it may be a Spirit of rejection from the womb, BUT yet we may be looking at the current violent manifestations of a lesser demon called madness or insanity.
We need to deal with the "root" to have any effectiveness in deliverance and not be chopping at the "branches"
I must tell you deliverance is 20% a session with a Minister and counselling and 80% the individual seeking God for truth and freedom and also conforming their life and mind to God's word

Because individuals need to walk in freedom and freedom comes with truth. Freedom means one will be effective in increasing the Kingdom, Walking in Purpose and Completing the God-given Assignment
