Good morning dear friends
May we meditate on these words
Psalm 90
10 The days of our lives are seventy years;
And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,
Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;
For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
11 Who knows the power of Your anger?
For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.
12 So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
13 Return, O Lord!
How long?
And have compassion on Your servants.
14 Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy,
That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!
15 Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us,
The years in which we have seen evil.
16 Let Your work appear to Your servants,
And Your glory to their children.
17 And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands
So much to meditate on from this Psalm but we will focus on a few verses.
A Psalm written by Moses which honours the centrality of God
Human efforts are only worthwhile when one is acknowledging God as the Creator and Judge and recognizing that God is the one who gives mercy.
Only God can establish the works of our hands—only God can make what we do meaningful and lasting—and that a right relationship with God is the necessary ingredient for a worthwhile life.
As we seek God and make him the greatest in our life, then and only then will all other things come together well and "fall" into their rightful place.
We don’t need to strive, we don't need to be anxious we just need to allow God to lead and guide us. Surrender, yield and submit to God. We can never ever fail if we live, move and breathe in God. Such a merciful Father who recognizes we are from dust and he raises us up to greatness all for his glory. May we really just BE all he created us to BE
Every thing we are, everything we own, everything we accomplish is just simply because of God’s great love, grace and mercy.
Let us be - IN HIM.
I thought of this song let me share the lyrics here
I thought that number one would surely be me
I thought I could be what I wanted to be
I thought that I could build on life's
Sinking in sand
But I realize I can't even walk
Without You holding my hand
I thought that I could do a lot on my own
I thought I, I thought I could make it all alone
I thought, I thought of myself
As a mighty, mighty big man
But I realize I can't even walk
Without You holding my hand
Lord I can't even walk
Without You holding my hand
Because the mountains are so high
And the valleys are so wide
I'm down on my knees
I had to say,
Lord I can't even walk
Without You holding my hand
(Repeat)
Lord I can't even walk
Without You holding my hand
Lord I can't even walk
Without You holding my hand
Lord we walk alligned to your perfect will
We give you our all, our best. May you cause us to fulfill all our purpose and walk in Destiny
We walk good in Christ
In Jesus name
Amen
Nuff love and blessings
