Completeness
Completeness is a position one finds themselves in of having all the necessities and being without restrictions or exceptions. The Biblical consensus of Bible scholars of the word completeness means perfection. “For in Him dwelleth all fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him which is the Head of all principalities and power,” Colossians 2:9-10.
It is a daily battle living in this life today. The terrains, hills and valleys, the ups and downs we have to navigate through, are a cause for major concern. When I got this word completeness, I had to do some introspection because it signified the entirety of one’s life. I felt the Lord show me that the image of completeness should not just be evident when we are in Church.
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me,” Philippians 4:13. Genesis 17:1, “…. I am the Almighty God, walk before me, and be though perfect.” Our position of being complete (perfect) can only be through Christ Jesus. In the Godhead we are made “filled full (complete)”, portraying the unity between us and God. Plentitude, through God’s unmerited favors.
God’s completeness is to be seen in every aspect of our lives; this is how we show the fulness of Him that dwelleth in us. For this to happen every area of our lives must to be committed to Him. When we are complete it affects not just our Church life but or life in general.
God Bless.
