Can we really live under an Open Heaven

Updated: Jun 17

Dearly beloved

Do we really believe we can walk and live under an open heaven?

I am not talking about that place that some Christian Television shows have glorified of being super wealthy and rich, owning many mansions and material possessions on this earth. Those can be destroyed by moth and rust. Let us instead lay up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19 - 21)

I am talking about that place and dimension that Jesus and the Apostles lived in. That dimension where miracles, signs and wonders are evident. The word clearly says we are called into a place where "Greater Works" are evident. Do we really believe this though? Are we growing into the place of manifesting God's power in such an unprecedented way like never seen before? We need to have such a zeal to manifest God’s glory and increase the Kingdom. Let us be strong and do exploits. We will not limit God or ourselves any longer in Jesus name.

It means giving up all for the sake of the Kingdom, we are ready. Have your way Lord. I decided to do some research on the matter and I actually found the adapted account below in AI. It is the truth and I shared it below, may it bless you.

Living under an "open heaven" in Christian theology refers to a state of unhindered access to God's presence, power, and provision, often associated with answered prayer and spiritual breakthrough. It signifies a condition where the barriers between the earthly and divine realms are removed, allowing for a more direct and impactful experience of God's favor and blessings.

Scriptural basis for the concept:

  • Jesus' baptism:

Mark 1:10 describes the heavens opening and the Spirit descending upon Jesus like a dove after his baptism, signifying a divine endorsement and the beginning of his ministry.

  • Jesus' prayer:

Luke 3:21 states that the heavens were opened when Jesus prayed after his baptism, indicating a connection between prayer and open heavens.

  • Matthew 6:10:

Jesus teaches his disciples to pray, "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven," which implies a desire for God's will to be manifested on earth as it is in heaven, a state associated with open heavens.

  • Malachi 3:10:

This verse speaks of God opening the "windows of heaven" and pouring out blessings when tithes are brought into the storehouse, highlighting the connection between obedience and divine provision.

  • Hebrews 10:19-22:

This passage emphasizes that through the blood of Jesus, believers have boldness to enter the most holy place, suggesting access to God's presence.

  • Revelation 4:1:

John sees a door standing open in heaven, symbolizing access to God's throne room.

Characteristics of living under an open heaven:

  • Unimpeded access to God:

Believers can approach God with confidence and expect to receive his guidance, grace, and provision.

  • Manifestation of God's power:

Miracles, healings, and other supernatural events may become more common as God's power is released.

  • Kingdom advancement:

The advancement of God's kingdom on earth is accelerated as believers partner with God in fulfilling His purposes.

  • Spiritual sensitivity:

Believers are more attuned to the Holy Spirit's leading and can discern God's will more readily.

Maintaining open heavens:

  • Prayer:

Consistent and fervent prayer is a key factor in experiencing open heavens.

  • Righteous living:

Living in accordance with God's Word and seeking purity of heart is essential.

  • Faith:

Believing God for the impossible and trusting in His promises are crucial.

  • Kingdom focus:

Prioritizing God's purposes and seeking His will above personal desires is vital.

In summary, living under an open heaven is a state of experiencing God's presence, power, and provision in a tangible and impactful way, characterized by unhindered access to God, the manifestation of His power, and the advancement of His kingdom.

Amen and Amen

Walk good in Christ

Till we meet again
