Good morning Beloved

It is written ‘ Be still and know that I am God.I will be exalted among the nations .I will be exalted in the earth according to Psalm 46 vs 10 (NKJV).

This scripture serves as a reminder that we need to stop fighting battles in our own strength and see that God is sovereign.

Psalm 46 vs 10 to encourages us to cease from striving , lay down all control and begin to trust in God ‘s strength during times of trouble, challenges and chaos

To   cease   striving   simply   means     we   need to release   all   anxiety,   worries,   fears and efforts to   fix unfavourable situations. There is no safety in anxiety or a troubled heart . Anxiety blurs vision and steals peace, clouding discernment and weakens spiritual discernment.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of love , power and a sound mind.

Refuse to let your emotions interpret what God has already completed or settled.

Pause in the midst of tribulations and struggles for in stillness lies revelation, clarity and deliverances.

Hence , Lets us be in quiet reflection allowing the Sovereign Lord's presence to permeate our lives and  situations.

Be still , pull away from all the noise and distractions and spend alone with God , just listening for Hisinstructions and guidance .

This scripture recognises the Lord God as omnipotent and faithful rather than depending on frail human beings attempting to fix or sort thematters in our own strength. Let us not miss 

God because we are trying to only feel Him.

God'spromises are eternally established by his unfailing and unchanging covernants 

toward His people.

As seen in the scriptures , when God wanted to make David a King , He did not give him a crown he sent him Goliath

When he wanted to made Esther queen , He did not give her comfort rather he allowed her to have a crisis.

Similarly , for Joseph there was no short

cut In order to raise Joseph , he did this through much troubles and struggles, Joseph walk through the pit and prison before ascending to the throne. 

Be confident, that your blessings are on the other side of your battles and struggles.

Prayer

Dear Father forgive us for trying to control every aspect of our lives and the lives of  our loved ones Forgive us for failing to trust you, for playing God ourselves.

Give us the grace, the strength to STAND STILL BEFORE YOU

May we as Your children rely totally on You Sovereign  Lord, casting all our cares, burdens upon You because You care for us.
