When you don't understand - you may be asking HOW and WHY?

Updated: Nov 10, 2021

Sometimes we can walk through things in this

L I F E , that are just unexplainable. Somethings we may never understand until we see God face to face.

Everyone of us will face trauma, disappointment or shock at some point in life

We begin to think:

We did everything possible to walk in righteousness, we sowed right seeds and we stayed in God's will and BOOM!

Something happens that just knocks the breath out of you.

Your first question would probably be " How could God allow this?"

Then a myriad of other questions come

"What did I do wrong?"

"What did I do to deserve this?"

"Where are you God?"

And we may say "God I didn’t see this coming at all!"

Some of us may be praying about a situation and it just seems to get worse.

The psalmist says in

Psalm 42:5Amp

Why are you in despair, O my soul?

And why have you become restless and disturbed within me?

Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him

For the help of His presence

Yes put all your hope in God, he will never make you feel ashamed.

I have proved on the other side of many many painful experiences that God makes ALL things beautiful in his time and everything the enemy means for bad God turns it around for his glory.

God has a way of comforting us during the troubling times. I have been quite downcast and very sad about a matter. My closest friends are praying but I will not be putting it out there until it becomes a testimony. Yesterday my friend Antoinette Palmer-Davis sent this song I will share with you below, she had no clue what I was walking through, it was definitely from God and it brought such deep comfort.

It will comfort you also.

God also spoke to me in a dream and has revealed his will.

Sometimes we may even find ourselves saying "Abbah, can you just answer the prayer now"

To amuse you and digress a bit. I don't know about some of you ladies.....but for me the labour pain is absolutely totally mindblindingly unbearable. I see some ladies being calm but for me I think I just simply think I am going to die right here, right now...lol

Well, honestly that is usually what I am like in real life situations - I know God will work it out, but boy I can't take the pain. It really makes a difference if we just trust in God and continue in worship than focusing on what is causing us pain. If, during labour pain we deep breath it is proven to help, we should learn in real live situations to deep breath in sync with God (instead of panicking and thinking the worst is going to happen) - that is truly worship. God is certainly fine tuning me - teaching me to endure with grace. My friend Carlton says just "grit your teeth and bear out the pain"..lol

It doesn't help groaning, moaning, getting all panicked and anxious. When we know God is working it out. My prayer partner (not knowing either that I had had a traumatic experience) brought these verses in our zoom prayer meeting yesterday morning....truly comforting

1 Peter 5:6 - 11 amp

6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time,(B)7 casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].(C)8 Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. 9 But resist him, be firm in your faith [against his attack—rooted, established, immovable], knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being experienced by your brothers and sisters throughout the world. [You do not suffer alone.] 10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be]. 11 To Him be dominion (power, authority, sovereignty) forever and ever. Amen.

Well just to testify too, something happened to me for the first time yesterday...I headed out to purchase an item on Facebook marketplace.

I was headed to A Sydney Street in Derby

I put this address in Google maps but somehow ended up on the Sydney Street in Chesterfield.

Both are 45 minutes away from Ollerton, but yet 45 minutes away from each other.

So I walk around in the cold a bit trying to find the house not able to get the seller on the phone to complicate things.

I am laughing as I write this, because I THEN finally go back to the car put in the post code and then I realised I AM IN THE WRONG CITY! LOL

I could have cried, but I was undaunted, I remember driving past a big mall.

Well I thought why not visit the BM bargains get some well needed supplies for Christmas cake orders. Turns out they were on sale. Lots of coffee shops too. My trip therefore turned out to be a really big blessing and who knows I may have been averted from danger in the other city

So I end the message this way, when we don't understand

WHY OR HOW?

Make the best of the situation UNTIL God answers your prayer.

Trust our Abbah Father's heart knowing he loves us

Trust him - be assured he is working it out

SOMEHOW

SOMEWAY and

SOMEDAY

He IS a faithful God - we have proved him so before again again

Choose to remain in joy and peace, steadfastly rooted and grounded in God’s love. Keep counting your blessings you will find you have a lot to thank God for.

Amen

Walk Good in Christ

Till we meet again
