What is your question for God
I was in a trance while praying and it felt as if I was in the presence of God and given an opportunity to ask Him any question. The thought of being in Heaven created an explosion of joy. I felt emancipated, taken out of the everyday hustle and bustle of life. I was captivated by the terrains around me and began to think about all the questions I would ask God.
My eyes glanced around me and there were loads of people everywhere. People as far as my eyes could see, waiting to ask God their question. When would I get my chance, I wondered? Then I thought what’s the rush anyway, I have until eternity.
My mind travelled to the great men of the Bible who had encounters with God. It pivoted to Adam, Moses, Noah, Elijah and Elisha. I thought of Sampson and his prayer request in Judges 16:28. “And Sampson call on the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines of my two eyes.” My mind twirled around Paul on the road of Damascus when he asked God, “…. what wilt thou have me to do,” Acts 9:6. Habakkuk asked in Habakkuk 1:2, “O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! Even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!”
What is your question for God if given a chance? What will your question be in the now or in the time to come? In the now will it be, why me? In the time to come will it be “…. have we not prophesied in Thy name? …. cast out devils? …. done wonderful works,” Matthew 7:22? Our question is determined by our relationship with God.
God Bless.
