Growing in an Irrevocable and Enduring Covenant by Minister Janet Clarke Christian

Good morning Beloved

Let's begin with today's Text: Isaiah 54:10

"For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant 6of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.”

Isaiah 54:10 paints a powerful picture of contrast. Things that look permanent to us, mountains and hills, can shift and disappear. Yet God declares that His kindness and His covenant of peace remain untouched. This verse reassures us that when everything else feels unstable, God’s commitment to us stands firm.

The truth is God’s kindness and peace are covenant promises, not temporary comforts.

Life has a way of shaking what we once thought was secure. Plans change, people disappoint, and seasons turn unexpectedly. In those moments, God invites us to rest in something deeper than circumstances. His peace is not dependent on what is happening around us; it is rooted in who He is. When we trust this truth, fear loses its grip and our hearts find rest.

Lets Pray

Lord, thank You for Your unchanging kindness and Your covenant of peace over my life. When everything around me feels uncertain, anchor my heart in Your promises. Help me to trust Your mercy and rest in the peace You have established for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
