True Worship is?

True Worship is the song of a life lived unto God in total surrender.

Worship is the antidote to fear, doubt, unbelief, worry, anxiety and so much more.

Worship is deep calling unto deep, the place in the inner court where God is our all in all and self becomes secondary.

This song fits this occasion, I will also share at the end of this message:

"Turn your eyes upon Jesus look full in his wonderful face

And this of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace"

True Worship can only come from total surrender and surrender is the place where we listen to God more than we talk to him. We follow God's leading every step of the way.

We follow God's word as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

We recognise our frailty as human beings and refuse to go without God's presence.

This is what Moses prayed:

May this be our confession also

Exodus 33

13 Now therefore, I pray you, if I have found favor in Your sight, let me know Your ways so that I may know You [becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with You, recognizing and understanding Your ways more clearly] and that I may find grace and favor in Your sight. And consider also, that this nation is Your people.” 14 And the Lord said, “My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest [by bringing you and the people into the promised land].”(B)15 And Moses said to Him, “If Your presence does not go [with me], do not lead us up from here. 16 For how then can it be known that Your people and I have found favor in Your sight? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we are distinguished, Your people and I, from all the [other] people on the face of the earth?”

Father we will not go without you. I pray that you will take away the desire for the things of this world and keep us aligned to your perfect not permissive will. We put all our faith, hope and trust in you
