The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The word 'Gospel' literally means 'Good News' and it is mentioned over ninety times in the Bible. The Gospel is the whole of scripture; the narrative of God's plan to restore humanity to Himself. The Gospel is the good news about Jesus. The story of who He is and what He did.

1. He is King eternally,

2. His kingdom is forever,

3. His kindness and love is expressed through his humility and sacrificial act of restoring and redeeming all humanity

4. His kindreds are

whoever will receive his gift of salvation,making us kindred.

1.) God's Kingdom.

"Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom." (Psalms 45:6)

And to Him was given dominion,

Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed (Daniel 7:14)

2.) The KING.

"And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and releases us from our sins by His blood." (Revelation 1:5)

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.read more.

And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the winepress of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."(Revelation 19:11-16)

3.) His Kindness.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

4.) Kindreds.

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name," (John.1:12)

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.(1 John.3:2)

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the foundation of the church. The gospel of Christ is the Bride of Christ.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ transforms sinners' lives.

God Himself came to earth in the form of a man named Jesus Christ. Jesus went to the cross and died for our sins in our place. When He made payment in full for our sins He resurrected into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. For those of us who are repentant of our sins and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior the Holy Spirit is sent as a deposit and seal upon us to restore that communion with God the Father and give us a path to heaven. It is only through Jesus that you can get to heaven and your salvation is made possible by the sacrificial works of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

We the church of the living have been commissioned as his disciples to evangelize, spread this Gospel worldwide and make disciples of men.

This is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
