The Faithful Servant by Marcel & Jacqueline Bruff

The Faithful Servant

(14/04/2026)

As Christians, we're called to be faithful servants of God, stewarding His gifts and talents to advance His kingdom. But what does it mean to be a faithful servant?

Faithfulness in God's Eyes

"Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master!" (Matthew 25:21)

Loving God with All.

"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24)

Perseverance in Trials. "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." (James 1:12)

Reflection!

Take a moment to reflect: Are you being a faithful servant in your daily life, relationships, and service to God? Are there areas where you can improve?

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to be faithful servants, using our gifts and talents to advance Your kingdom. Give us the strength to persevere in trials and the heart to serve You with love and devotion. May we hear Your "well done" and enter into Your joy.

Amen.
