The Discovery of God as friend

Good morning Beloved

We need God to endow and bless every area of our life. Only he can fill every void that we have, only he can give us true and lasting peace only he can give us deep filled Joy

I tell you I recently prayed for God to show me himself as my friend. I then walked through an experience and I KNEW him as friend.

I begin to understand that every experience we walk through if we continue to cleave to God with unshaken faith, then we will begin to know not just about him, but prove him.

We begin to not just know him theoretically but experientially too.

Walking through the fire of needing healing, but on the other side of that heart wrenching experience we prove him as healer.

After each experience we prove him as

Deliverer

Teacher

Provider

Protector

Defender

FATHER, ABBAH FATHER.

Just simply our everything

Now about God as friend

Jesus is truly the Friend who sticks closer than a brother, and blessed are those who have Him as their Friend (see John 15:14)

In the Trinity - Jesus is God as the son. So everything Christ represents bring the Father and his will into our relationship with God as friend.

John 15:12 - 14

12 “This is My commandment, that you [c]love and unselfishly seek the best for one another, just as I have loved you. 13 No one has greater love [nor stronger commitment] than to lay down his own life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you keep on doing what I command you. 15 I do not call you servants any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you [My] friends, because I have revealed to you everything that I have heard from My Father

Here are a few characteristics of God as friend

- His unfailing loyalty

- His unconditional acceptance

- He gives us safe counsel

- He gives us loving correction and guidance

- He is a trusted confidant

Ever have a friend and they become so deeply "engrafted" in your life, they become closer than even "blood" relatives.

Well God not only relates with us a friends, he adopts us as children - we become a part of the family of God.

Everything we need is in God.

I pray you will not seek man for comfort or peace - I pray you will discover God as friend.

I thank God though that even as he does the work in our lives he sends good friends too.

These individuals really serve God’s purpose in my life.

They have proved to be loyal friends and God gives them such anointed words of wisdom and comfort to speak.

God really does bless every single area of our life....allow him to be your friend and allow him to choose your friends.

It is wonderful to discover and KNOW God at deeper and deeper levels. He really does provide everything we need.

May God’s rich blessings overtake all areas of your life.
