Thank you by Minister Owen Mitchell

Thanks, thanks, I give you thanks for all you have done. I am so blessed, my soul is at rest, O Lord I give you thanks.

As we embark on a new year, let us put everything of 2021 behind us. Every deception, every backbiting, every dishonesty, every rumor. I pray we put away all lies, every negative thought and actions that affected us majorly. Let us leave the sorrows of 2021 behind us and step into the promises of 2022.

In Numbers 13, we see the Lord directing Moses to send out 12 spies into the land of Canaan. Moses asked them to search the land to see who dwells in it, if they are strong or weak, few or many. See if the land be good or bad and in what cities the people dwell and if they dwell in tents or strong holds. Weather the land be fat or lean, if it has wood or not and also bring back fruits if any, verses 17-20.

Saints of God I present to you 2022. We have no knowledge of the trials we will face, we do not have the luxury of sending out spies to search out 2022, What we have is Faith! Regardless of the encounters we will have with the children of Anak, the Amalekites, the Jebusites, the Amorites and all the other inhabitants of 2022. This is the year we need to fully arm ourselves and fight because 2022 is flowing with milk and honey and it’s full of lush fruits. All we have to do is believe, the word of the Lord says in Mark 9:23, “…. if you canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”

Friends, lets us thank God for all He has taken us through in 2021 and also thank Him for all He has provided for us in 2022. Let us also pray for the strength needed to fight the enemies of 2022 and claim what is rightfully ours in Jesus’ name, Amen.
