Oftentimes You will see a change in a person's behavior and attitude when using kind and
respectful words.
"Grievous words stir up anger, Soft words turneth away wrath"
Impulsive actions from anger can result in regrettably circumstances.
"Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts
folly."(Proverbs 14:29)
In today's world this current generation must understand that there are consequences to words
uttered and behaviours from actions the Bible is clear on this.
" A man of wrath stirs up strife, and one given to anger causes much transgression." (Proverbs
29:22)
The habitual inclination of a Christ-like heart is unto good, unto God, unto holiness and
obedience. As followers of Christ we must mirror his righteous examples.
"But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast
love and faithfulness."
(Psalms 86:15)
Whenever you are in anger stop and count to ten, think carefully about what consequences will
come from your actions, behaviour and verbal response.
As you practice self-restraint you will grow to avoid weaponized Words and as you mature
using kind words our world will be a better place.
Father we pray our verbal utterances will be an example of kind words and we will strive to
follow you words and deeds in Jesus name
