Right and wrong, good and evil are within all humans.
However ignorance of morals and ethical values is no excuse. Even in the past where people from different cultures worshipped idols of gold, silver, stone and wood carvings. Images made by human design and skill.
"In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”(Acts 17:30-31)
Our Creator made the world and everything in it, he is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.
"From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. "For in him we live and move and have our being." (See Acts 17)
"Since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.”
when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they . . . show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts.” therefore we are without excuses.
Therefore, doing wrongs our conscience identifies within our hearts.
Most people don't know but the moral laws are the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20.
God did say through Jeremiah, in a passage later quoted in the letter to the Hebrews, “I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts.” (Jeremiah 31:33)
Paul’s letter to the Romans about the Gentiles keeping the law says literally in Greek that the work of the law is written on their hearts—not the specific requirements of the law, but what it looks like to “do” (live by) the law.
"The conscience is like a law written in the human heart.” (CEV)
“In their hearts they know what is right and wrong, the same as the law commands, and their consciences agree."(RSV)
In today's world there are diabolical plans to remove the foundational truths of God by forces in control of social media, governments and mainstream entertainment.
Influencing songs, movies, the news, they are all taking an anti-God agenda and promoting a cancelled culture mentality.
As such we the remnant must stand our ground firmly without fear or compromise, lift the standards and continue in fervent prayers for souls to be saved from the distractive and deceptive evil in this broken world.
