Good morning beloved
Are you ready to bring God unadulterated, unrestricted Praise just because of who he is. Not because of what he can do, but because of who he is.
There is description of
A YET praise
Psalm 42:11
Why are you in despair, O my soul?
Why have you become restless and disquieted within me?
Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him,
The [b]help of my countenance and my God.
Written by the sons of Korah while in Exhile
There is also description of THE SACRIFICE OF PRAISE
Hebrews 13:15 says, "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name
Even in those times when things do not go right we bring God that sacrifice just because we KNOW God is a good Father and he can be trusted above any and all circumstances.
I heard the Lord say since yesterday speak about Leah and as I did the research this morning, I was truly amazed.
The story of Leah is detailed in Genesis 29/30
Jacob the younger tricks his brother Essau and got Abraham's blessing.
He then had to move away and went to live in Laban's (his Uncle's) house. There he is smitten by Rachel and asks her hand in marriage. Her Father Laban knows well the Jewish law and tradition that the oldest must be married first and so the one who tricked - Jacob, was tricked as he finds on his wedding night that he was married to Leah, the sister who was not so beautiful (she actually had cross eyes)
His heart is not in this and he works 7 more years so he can marry the one whom he loves Rachel. In the meantime though God opens Leahs womb and she bears sons and here is what she names them.
I have also detailed here the meaning of those names:
Reuben means “See, a son!” (Leah said, “The Lord has seen my humiliation and affliction; now my husband will love me.”)
Simeon means “God hears.” Leah said, “Because the Lord heard that I am despised, He has given me this son also”)
Levi means “companion.”Leah said, “Now this time will my husband be a companion to me, for I have borne him three sons.”)
Judah means “praise.” (Leah said, “Now will I praise the Lord!”)
In the Jewish Talmud, Leah is listed as the first to say THANK YOU GOD
The
name Judah shares the same root in Hebrew as the word todah, meaning
"thank you."
How painful it must have been to be unloved but to still continue the conjugal rights
Judah
was Leah's fourth son. She recognized that he was one more than her share. Her
thankfulness for Judah was deeper and more heartfelt because he was unexpected.
He was a gift
Because by Jewish tradition she should only have had three, but God blessed her with extra for her pain.
That is what God always does for us.
There is no pain that doesn't birth great purpose in the Kingdom.
Leah's circumstances didn't change yet but NOW SHE WAS READY TO GIVE GOD HER BEST PRAISE.
Give him your best praise
Give him all your praise.
He is worthy
Hallelujah!
IN THE KINGDOM
ANY SACRIFICE YOU BRING UNTO GOD WITH PURITY OF HEART LEADS TO GREAT REWARD
Leah ends well and was honoured as being a Matriach of the nation of Israel and greatest of all, Christ was birthed through her lineage.
You will end well
You may not understand everything in your life right now but trust God
Bring your unrestrained, unadulterated best praise just because he IS worthy
Hallelujah!
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Nuff love and blessings
