Overcoming the wiles of the Devil by Pastor Samson Bodjor

📖 SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 6:11 (KJV) “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

YOUR VICTORY BEGINS WITH SPIRITUAL ALERTNESS!

The devil does not always come with a loud announcement; sometimes, he comes through subtle deception, discouragement, offense, temptation, fear, and distractions designed to weaken your faith and derail your destiny.

His strategy is not always to destroy you instantly, but to distract you gradually, deceive you subtly, and disconnect you from the things that strengthen your relationship with God.

But here is the good news: You are not helpless against the schemes of the enemy!

God has equipped you with His Word, empowered you through His Spirit, and given you the authority to stand firm in Christ.

To overcome the wiles of the devil: Know the Word — Truth exposes deception. Guard your heart — Do not allow bitterness, fear, or offense to take root. Stay prayerful — Spiritual vigilance keeps you alert to the enemy's schemes. Stand in faith — Refuse to surrender your convictions to temporary pressure. Remain steadfast in Christ — Your strength is not in human ability but in God's unfailing power.

Remember, not every battle is won by fighting harder; some are won by standing firmer in the truth, resisting temptation, maintaining your peace, and refusing to abandon your God-given assignment.

You may face the enemy's schemes, but you do not have to become a victim of them!

📖 James 4:7 (KJV): “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

🙏 PRAYER: Father, in the name of Jesus, sharpen my spiritual discernment and strengthen me to overcome every deception, temptation, and scheme of the enemy. Clothe me with Your whole armour, establish my heart in truth, and preserve my faith, family, purpose, and destiny. May every strategy designed to derail Your purpose for my life fail, and may I remain steadfast in Christ until the end. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION: I declare that I will not be deceived, distracted, or defeated! My faith will not fail, my family will not be abandoned to the enemy's schemes, and my divine assignment will not be derailed. By the power of God, I will stand firm, overcome every spiritual opposition, and fulfil my destiny in Christ, in Jesus' mighty name. AMEN!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: The enemy's schemes lose their grip when your heart is anchored in God's truth and your life is surrendered to Christ.
