Maintaining your Posture by Minister Mark Thomas

Good morning beloved

In this time of corporate fasting it is imperative that we maintain our posture and divine positining in God.

What does it take for Believers to maintain their peace when they are vastly overwhelmed?

We can draw solace from the context of this scripture Ex 14:14 which highlights Moses' final encounter with the Egyptians.

Exodus 14:14 KJV

The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

If we note Moses' confidence in God's promise to fight on his behalf came with an instruction to maintain a stance, a position, a posture as indicated in Exodus 14:16.

"But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it"

This act of obedience would work in divine synergy and unison with God's will and purpose on the earth as Moses confidently trusted and held his posture.

Our obedience is an act of worship. We must be careful that along with our seeking in this season of Fasting we are eagerly waiting to Respond and more so, responding to the voice of God.

The enemy may require a response in the heat of battle, even in the time of fasting there are temptations, accusations condemnation, internal and external forces to contend with but our focus must be stayed on Jesus.

God wants to give you peace in the midst of turmoil. Unexplainable peace beyond human comprehension when circumstances go awry and impending chaos calls for impulsive reactions. I encourage you to maintain your posture, let the Lord fight for you. Incline your ears to voice of the Holy spirit and His leading and trust in God's keeping care. For the battle is not yours, its the Lords. 2Chron 20:15.

Amen
