Living on the brighter side

Good morning friends

Stop! Think!

That thing that you are so concerned about.

That burden you carry.

Is it really worth it?

The verses that come to mind are:

James 1:2 - 4

2 Consider it nothing but joy, my [b]brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. 3 Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.

The King James version simply says "COUNT IT ALL JOY"

But how could Paul the Apostle write such words? Yes, because he certainly knew about hardship. He was beaten, struck down, imprisoned, treacherously treated, stripped, whipped even bitten by a snake. But he had found himself in God and found the true source of real joy. Paul had learned how to abound and abase - to be content in all.

When you think of it friends what really matters in this life? Those material things we strive to accomplish we will leave them all behind and there is not one thing we can gain by worrying or being fearful and anxious.

Nothing that God ordained to be ours, can be blocked or stopped in Jesus name.

Remember too any hardship you face today - it is temporal and it is working for the greater good - the eternal weight of the glory. God will be glorified through all our pain and suffering

Amen

May we keep our focus on the gift bearer - God himself and not on the gifts. May we seek God's face more than his hand.

May we truly learn to be content in all.

It occurred to me, those things we strive to accomplish, those things we desire and seem to want to have. If and when we receive, there we go WISHING AND PRAYING FOR SOMETHING ELSE.

Let us truly live on the brighter side in worship of God. Content with what God has given us for today. Be assured there is always more in God, always better in him. He certainly blesses us in ever increasing measure and does the exceedingly abundantly above all we could have. He definitely causes our cups to overflow. Refocus - count our blessings, be content here and now. Worship God every moment with your all and best. For you will certainly find in his presence the fullness of joy.

Psalm 16:11

You will show me the path of life;

In Your presence is fullness of joy;

In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Live on that brighter side, abiding in God's presence, experiencing the abundance of his love. Therein you will certainly have the peace that passes all understanding and joy unspeakable

Amen

Walk good in Christ

My friends

Till we meet again
