Good afternoon my Muslim friend, There was a man hell-bent on destroying and persecuting Christian however, he had a profound epiphany and a 180° turn-around and conversion to Christianity, on the road to Damascus. His birth name was Saul of Tarsus, born, lived and breathed a dedicated Jew, he was passionate in his faith and proud of his birthright. Persecuting and imprisoning Christians however on "the road to Damascus" he encountered the resurrected saviour Jesus the Messiah, this supernatural encounter brought about his conversion to Christianity and changed his destiny and name to Paul he has written thirteen of the books of the Bible. Muslims speak negatively about the apostle Paul (you included based on your texts in the whatsapp group) however his Calling was directly from Jesus and his mission to convert gentiles, non-Jews are mentioned in the following(Acts 9:1-19 and retold by Paul in Acts 22:6-21 and Acts 26:12-18.). Twice he journeyed to Jerusalem twice to meet the other apostles who were the original eyewitnesses to Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection so Paul is eye witness to eye witnesses.
