I thank you for this invitation
Pastors Primate Precious and Prophetess Jumoke Ayegbusi
I am truly honoured to write on this topic of
Knowing your Ministry and Fulfilling it.
This Teaching will be done for about 4 weeks. This is part IV of the teaching.
The next step after hearing from God what your ministry and fulfilling it is - you have got to have a vision. After vision you have got to stand in faith and know how to deal with opposition.
Finally one needs to guard their speaking
God's word says You will have what you say (Mark 11:24)
Colossians 1
) AContinue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it (B)with thanksgiving. 3 At the same time, pray also for us, that God may (C)open to us a door for the word, (D)to declare the mystery of Christ, (E)on account of which I am in prison— 4 that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
5 (F)Walk in wisdom toward (G)outsiders, making the best use of the time. 6 Let your speech always (H)be gracious, (I)seasoned with salt, (J)so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
Now some of us may come from cultures, where we openly confront others and it is the easiest thing to "curse" someone else when they offend us. We may even call children stupid, lazy or foolish. Call our spouses worthless, evil, wicked, all sorts.
We will have exactly what we say.
When we look at examples in God's word - the great Patriachs and Matriarchs, never spoke in agreement with what surrounded or challenged them. They spoke in agreement with what God said and endured into God's promise.
Abraham when given the instruction to sacrifice his most prized possession - spoke prophetically " God himself will provide a ram for the sacrifice" (Genesis 22)
Jonah in the whale's belly spoke prophetically "I called to the Lord and he answered me" (Jonah 2)
After Jonah spoke those words and worshipped God, the word says then God caused the whale to vomit Jonah
Many are sitting on a next level miracle - a suddenly miracle.
Move today from the place of - "Woe is me" to calling those things that be not as though they were.
You are never abandoned or defeated for God is with you.
He will move when one comes out of the place of the emotions ie. The soul realm, into disciplining ourselves that even at our worst and lowest moments, we will speak forth God's will be done and his kingdom come. We speak as Thus saith the Lord in the face of adversity.
There are so many who should have crossed over by now, but yet they spoke defeat, they agreed with the enemy, they pronounced what they saw, felt and surrounded them.
Cross over today - speak forth God's will according to his word and watch him manifest his power in your life
For every day let's ask God to give us gracious speech and that the words we speak be seasoned with salt and lined up to his will
Amen
