Kept in a Corrupt World by Pastor Samson Bodjor

Updated: Jun 8

"I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” — John 17:15 (KJV)

Jesus never promised that His followers would be exempt from the challenges, temptations, and pressures of this world. Instead, He prayed for something greater—divine preservation in the midst of it all.

The world is filled with distractions, deception, fear, and spiritual battles. Yet, Jesus prayed that His people would be kept from evil. This means that God's protective hand can rest upon your life even when darkness surrounds you. You may face storms, but you will not be swallowed by them. You may walk through difficult seasons, but you will not be abandoned in them.

The same Lord who prayed for His disciples is still interceding for believers today. His prayer is your assurance that no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper and that His grace is sufficient to sustain you through every challenge.

Do not focus on the power of the enemy; focus on the power of the One who keeps you. God's preservation is stronger than Satan's opposition. His faithfulness is greater than every attack of the wicked.

Today, walk confidently knowing that you are not merely surviving—you are being divinely kept.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your preserving power. Keep me from every evil, protect my family, preserve my faith, and guide my steps. Let Your hand rest upon me throughout this day, and grant me victory over every scheme of the enemy, in Jesus' Precious Name. Amen.

Prophetic Declaration

I declare that I am preserved by God's power. Evil shall not prevail over me. My faith shall not fail. My family is protected, my destiny is secured, and I shall fulfill God's purpose for my life. In Jesus' Precious Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and victorious weekend in Christ! 🙏✨
