Has God made you a promise? Many times God uses people, the scripture or situations to speak to us. Sometimes we hear that still small voice speaking, telling us of what is to come. But, we have allowed satan through the day to day pain and stresses of life to deter us. The Bible in Joshua 1:3 says, “every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, ….”

Joshua, Moses’ minister (Joshua 1:1), was with Moses as his confidential agent and personal attendant while he was alive. Joshua, not knowing he was in training to become the next leader of the Israelites, now had a greater responsibility because of the death of Moses. He was given the task of leading God’s people into the promise land. But it was quiet evident that he needed an assurance from God. “I HAVE GIVEN IT TO YOU!”

God’s omniscience afforded Him the knowledge of knowing what is to come before it actually happened. In other-words, Joshua had to adjust is mind, he had to remove fear so as to live in faith and allow God’s will to be done. Are their any giants in your life, any Hittites, Amorites, Hivites, Jebusites, Perizzites, Girgashites? God is assuring you today that, “It Have (past tense) Been Given Unto You, that land, that wife or husband, that job, that promotion, that house, it have already been established.

Are you allowing the prophesies of God for your life to be overcome by fear and doubt? God is saying to us today, It Have Been Given Unto You, Go And Possess It. Verse 5b-6a, “…. As I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Be strong and of good courage: ….”
